Shrewdd helping to bring the World to our Doorstep
Shrewdd Marketing is supporting the World On Your Doorstep (WOYD) 2011 festival marketing activities. Organisers of the festival, which is planned for summer 2011, are hoping to raise £30,000 to help pay for the event. The WOYD embraces the diversity of different cultures in West Yorkshire by celebrating the tradition of welcoming varying groups into the region.

Shrewdd wins three new contracts
Shrewdd Marketing has recently secured three new contracts with Clugston Construction, one of the North’s leading building and civil engineering companies, MetalTek International, a US-based casting company with offices worldwide, and Fernco Environmental, a company focusing on minimising the environmental impact within the sewerage and drainage industries which is part of the US Fernco group. The new contracts include a variety of marketing activities.

Marketing success continues for Shrewdd
Despite the current economic climate, Halifax-based marketing company Shrewdd Marketing continues to grow its client portfolio, having recently secured a number of new contracts to carry out a variety of marketing activities for companies across the North of England. These include providing media relations support for Harvard Engineering plc in Leeds; Magnomatics Ltd in Sheffield; and Safety Management & Monitoring Services in Huddersfield.

Shrewdd strengthens team
Shrewdd Marketing has recently made three new appointments to support its continued growth. Tony Beddows has joined the team as creative director. Tony has over 20 years experience working in the creative media industry. Amelia Annakin has joined as trainee marketing executive. She is currently studying the CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing. Stephanie Howard-Smith who has joined as sales executive, recently completed a degree at Leeds Metropolitan University in Media and Popular Culture.
