We have recently moved into a renovated Victorian building in the centre of one of Yorkshire's architecturally and culturally rich towns, Halifax, which was once at the centre of the industrial revolution. Shortlisted for the PRCA North DARE Awards

Congratulations for winning national award
Harvard recently won the Judges' Choice Award in the Mail on Sunday's Made in Britain Awards. The award was presented at a luncheon by James Caan on 21st February. A fantastic achievement, congratulations to everyone!

Successful Manufacturing Conference
Congratulations to EMS on a very successful Manufacturing Sustainability Conference. The conference, which was attended by over 100 different companies, provided independent expertise and solutions to companies looking to be more sustainable and save energy, with EMS also launching the Powerstar HV Max. The Yorkshire Post was a media partner for the event.
New Northern Ireland Depot for Redhead
Redhead International recently opened the company's new Northern Ireland depot in Belfast. The opening ceremony was performed by Northern Ireland's executive minister for regional development, Mr Danny Kennedy MLA.
The new 33,000 square foot facility has state-of-the-art warehousing and order fulfilment capabilities, a 20 ton overhead crane for heavy lifting, as well as modern new offices.
Eplan take over Harness Expert
Part of the world renowned Friedhelm Loh Group, our customer EPlan has announced it has taken over the development and sales rights to Harness Expert, the established 3D/2D software for cable harness engineering.
The strategic purchase of Harness Expert will provide considerable potential in both domestic and international markets.
75th Anniversary Bash
Congratulations to Clugston Group on the company's 75th Anniversary. After months of planning, it is great to see both the celebratory events and the commemorative book getting a great reception.

Clugston celebrate 75th Anniversary
Despite the double dip recession our customer The Clugston Group has announced a return to profit in its anniversary 75th year after winning a number of contracts in the Sustainability sector.
To mark the Group's 75th anniversary, the company is raising £75,000 for ten charities nominated by its employees.
EPLAN think Shrewdd
Shrewdd Marketing has been appointed by world leading electrical engineering software company EPLAN to manage the company's PR activities in the UK.
EPLAN, part of the world renowned Friedhelm Loh Group, is seeking to develop its presence in the UK and grow into a number of new markets.
We recently donated some of our time to work on the launch of Wigan Warriors Sean O'Loughlin's testimonial year, providing copy for an email campaign and an invitation to the Wigan business community.
Local talent at work
The UK's largest drinks dispense service company Innserve appointed Shrewdd to launch its Best Cellars Awards 2012. For the campaign we worked with local actor Simon Kirk, who became the campaign's fictional character Rupert Lovebeer and photographer Kieron Nevison. Steve Lakin, business development manager at Innserve commented:
"We are really excited to be launching the campaign for 2012 with Rupert Lovebeer. Shrewdd Marketing has developed a fantastic concept for this year's launch, the best we've ever had."

Alf recently dined with Manchester City manager and Italy football legend Roberto Mancini at a cultural evening organised in Manchester by CDLCI - part of the Italian Consulate.
CDLCI promotes the Italian language and culture as well as the relationship between Britain and Italy which goes as far back as the Grand Tour.

We would like to congratulate our client EMSc (UK) Ltd who recently won the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Award for Innovation of the Year. The company, which won the award for its revolutionary Powerstar MAX voltage optimisation system, was presented with the award by Nick Clegg, the Deputy Prime Minister.
The Powerstar solution is popular with both the private and public sector because of the tangible energy saving benefits it provides, not only helping organisations to meet carbon reduction commitments, but also cutting electricity costs at a time when surging energy prices are having a major impact on budgets.

With Shrewdd Marketing's support, Harvard - manufacturer of what is believed to be the world's first wireless street lighting control and monitoring system - has been shortlisted for the coveted Orange Innovation Award, in the 10th annual National Business Awards.

A right Royal visit
Shrewdd Marketing is pleased to announce that Harvard Engineering's new premises were officially opened by HRH The Duke of Kent at an event held on Thursday 12th May.
HRH The Duke of Kent also presented Harvard with a Queen's Award for Enterprise, within the innovation category, won for the company's innovative LeafNut street lighting control system. The event, which was organised by Shrewdd Marketing, was a great success and everyone had a fantastic day!
Harvard wins Queen's Award for Street Lighting Innovation
With the help of Shrewdd Marketing, Harvard Engineering has won a prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise within the Innovation Category.
Harvard has been awarded the Queen's Award for its innovative wireless street lighting management system, LeafNut, which is helping Local Councils around the world cut energy usage and reduce carbon emissions.
We are pleased to announce we have been appointed by Weir Power & Industrial, part of the FTSE 100 The Weir Group PLC and Clugston Construction, part of the Clugston Group, to run PR campaigns across national and international media.
Shrewdd continues to grow its client portfolio despite the current economic climate, having also recently secured a contract to provide services to Sheffield based EMS Powerstar.
Due to the continued success the company is also looking to recruit two new account managers, which means that in a little over twelve months we will have more than doubled our team to seven.
Shrewdd wins three new contracts
Shrewdd Marketing has recently secured three new contracts with Clugston Construction, one of the North's leading building and civil engineering companies, MetalTek International, a US-based casting company with offices worldwide, and Fernco Environmental, a company focusing on minimising the environmental impact within the sewerage and drainage industries which is part of the US Fernco group. The new contracts include a variety of marketing activities.

Tony has over 20 years experience working in the creative media industry. Amelia Annakin has joined as trainee marketing executive.
